-Rolling in 2013 in the 1920's-
We did a 1920's themed Murder Mystery before midnight. Lots of fun and a nice way to ring in the new year. Considering it was my first NYE with no alcohol in a while playing a game rather than just watching everyone else drink was my kind of night.

At about 2:30 am I was able to convince (easily convince I might add)
Giles to change into his Elvis costume which I had secretly packed for him.

On New Years day we went on a relaxing country walk.

My first game of "poo sticks" and I won.  Beginners Luck

An Indonesian Reunion Weekend
(minus a few)
in the West Country
photo taken by: Jon McClean
 12-1-12
Ok looking at the photo it doesn't look like an Indonesian reunion but a, "lets point to the baby belly" photo.  At least there is no photographic evidence of my friends grabbing my boobs.  I guess there is something about having a baby in the belly which gives others permission to just place their hands on the pregnant person whenever and wherever they want :) But in all seriousness it was a GREAT weekend.  There was a lot of much needed catch up done along with mulled wine, (or mulled apple cider) finger foods, cream teas, walks along the beach front, Jenga, embarrassing dancing, X Factor dissing, Christmas tree lighting, local watching, and 6 friends experiencing what the real "club scene" is like in our town.

Thanks boos

Halloween 2012

The first two photos are Giles and I going to the pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins.
It's not as popular in this country therefore our experience of pumpkin picking was at the local supermarket.
My husband looks sad because he realized that he has been
gypped growing up as an English lad.

My pumpkin seeds that I introduced to my English family last year.
Before me they had never had never experienced the joys of eating pumpkin seeds.
'Team 'Merica' showing my American pride.

Me in my Elvis costume at dinner.  I was Elvis and Giles was Giles.

And finally two Elvis' chillin' on the couch watching some Halloween movies.
